The backs of playing heads are second only to fronts of sleeping faces. Had Kindergarten grad last friday for my son, this Saturday is preschool grad for my daughter as she heads to TK at the same school as her brother. The hits just keep on comin'. 😭
Another milestone in parenting so beautifully captured by your writing ✍️. I'll be watching for more stories from you as that space keeps growing and changing ❤️.
I get so excited whenever a new Performance Plan appears in my inbox because you manage to encapsulate everything that is going on in my head and heart on the page. Our boys are similarly aged (and our backgrounds are quite similar too) and we just had our Pre-K graduation (we actually had cap and gowns which I thought at first was ridiculous but also ended up loving) and sobbed hysterically throughout the event). These little pandemic babies are growing up and I'm simultaneously verklempt and also so excited to see them flourish as their own people in this next stage.
Throwing scribbles at your desk is my favorite part. I hope the graduation is full of shenanigans and fun. ♥️
How dare you make me cry this early in the morning?!
