Such a beautiful piece of writing. I lost my big brother 21 years ago when he was just 29. A new doctor, newly married. It is devastating when someone dies so long, and it is lovely that you can remember your friend with such love. I love the funny, quirky memories the most. Like your friend eating the cookies with his coworker. My brother used to stick the tip of his tongue out the side of his mouth when he was concentrating. It makes me smile to remember. X
